**Special Abilities**:

– **Trade Pact**: The Trade Wraith can offer a pact to one creature within 30 feet. If accepted, the target gains temporary hit points equal to the Wraith's Charisma modifier (5) but must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or become charmed for 24 hours.

– **Wraith's Lament**: Each creature within 10 feet of the Wraith must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or take 3d6 necrotic damage and be blinded until the end of their next turn.

**Actions**:

– **Multiattack**: The Trade Wraith makes two attacks with its Dread Touch.

– **Dread Touch**: Melee Spell Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2d8 necrotic damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or have their maximum hit points reduced by the damage taken until they finish a long rest.

– **Soul Bargain (Recharge 5-6)**: The Wraith targets up to three creatures it can see within 30 feet. Each target must make a DC 16 Charisma saving throw, taking 4d6 psychic damage on a failed save or half as much on a success. If any target fails by 5 or more, they are also frightened until the end of their next turn.

**Description**: The Trade Wraith is a spectral figure draped in tattered remnants of merchant garb, eternally bound to the deals it brokered in life. It roams marketplaces and trade routes, seeking to ensnare the souls of the greedy and ambitious. The Wraith uses cunning and deception, often appearing to offer deals that seem beneficial but ultimately ensnare its victims in a web of despair. In combat, it strikes swiftly and retreats into the shadows, using its ability to manipulate fear and pain to weaken its foes before closing in for the kill.
