Rumors speak of a powerful artifact, the Heart of the Woods, that has been disturbed, awakening ancient guardians and stirring the spirits of the forest into a frenzy.
Your party is approached by a small, scrappy kobold named Zik, who wears a large warrior's gauntlet, palm down on their head—a tribute to their fallen protector, a giant of a warrior who had once saved their clan.
