**Special Abilities:**

– **Return to the Shadows:** When the Exile Warden drops to 0 hit points, it can use a reaction to teleport to the Ethereal Plane, becoming invisible for 1 minute before reappearing within 30 feet of its last location with half its hit points restored.

– **Deportation Pulse (Recharge 5-6):** As an action, the Exile Warden releases a wave of energy in a 30-foot radius around it. Creatures in that area must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened and pushed 15 feet away. Frightened creatures can repeat the save at the end of their turns.

**Actions:**

– **Multiattack:** The Exile Warden makes two attacks with its Shadow Blade.

– **Shadow Blade:** Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) psychic damage. On a critical hit, the target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be incapacitated until the end of its next turn.

– **Shadow Grasp (Recharge 4-6):** Ranged Spell Attack: +6 to hit, range 60 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (4d6) necrotic damage, and the target is restrained until the end of its next turn.

The Exile Warden is a twisted aberration born from a dark pact made during the tumultuous times of mass deportations. With its shadowy form and piercing eyes, it haunts the edges of society, hunting those it deems unworthy. Skilled in stealth and ambush tactics, the Warden employs fear and confusion, using its abilities to draw opponents into the shadows before striking. Driven by a deranged sense of justice, it believes itself a protector of its realm, enforcing an unjust order through brute force and sinister magic. The Exile Warden serves as both a reminder of the consequences of division and a formidable foe that challenges any who cross its path.
