Tier 2 – The Shadows of Celestial Healing

**Tier 2 play**

In the vibrant city of Eldoria, where magic flows as freely as the rivers, a peculiar incident has shaken the very foundation of the renowned Celestial Healing Hospital. Once a beacon of hope and healing, the hospital now stands shrouded in an eerie silence, its once-bustling halls echoing with whispers of fear. The local authorities have declared a major incident, urging citizens to avoid the hospital unless facing a genuine emergency. Rumors swirl of a dark force infiltrating the hospital's advanced magical systems, causing chaos and threatening the lives of patients and staff alike.

As the party gathers in the heart of Eldoria, they receive an urgent summons from the city’s council. A frantic healer, Lady Seraphine, implores them to investigate the strange occurrences plaguing the hospital. Patients have been mysteriously disappearing, and the hospital’s magical wards have begun to malfunction, allowing dark creatures to slip through the cracks of reality. The council believes that a rogue mage, once a respected healer, has turned to forbidden magic in a desperate attempt to harness the hospital's power for their own twisted purposes.

The party must navigate the labyrinthine corridors of the Celestial Healing Hospital, where the air is thick with tension and the faint glow of magical wards flickers ominously. As they explore, they encounter bizarre phenomena: healing potions that explode in bursts of chaotic energy, animated surgical tools that attack intruders, and spectral figures of patients lost to the dark magic.

The investigation leads them to the heart of the hospital, where they discover a hidden laboratory filled with arcane symbols and bubbling potions. Here, they confront the rogue mage, a once-great healer now twisted by ambition and despair.

**Boss Enemy: Malakar the Corrupted Healer**

– **Special Ability:** Shadow of Despair – Once per encounter, Malakar can cast a shadowy mist that envelops the area, imposing disadvantage on all attacks for one round.

As the party battles Malakar, they must also contend with the remnants of his dark magic, which manifest as shadowy apparitions of the patients he failed to save. The stakes are high, as the fate of the hospital and the lives of its patients hang in the balance.
