Tier 2 – The Legacy of Elder Tinniswood

**Tier 2 play**

In the vibrant realm of Eldoria, where magic flows like the rivers and the skies shimmer with the hues of enchantment, a somber event has cast a shadow over the land. The world's oldest man, the revered sage known as Elder Tinniswood, has passed away at the age of 112. His wisdom and tales of ancient magic have been a guiding light for many, and his death has left a void that echoes through the hearts of the people.

As the party gathers in the quaint village of Southport, they are drawn to the grand celebration of life being held in Elder Tinniswood's honor. The air is thick with the scent of blooming flowers and the sound of soft melodies played by local bards. However, amidst the festivities, whispers of a dark omen begin to circulate. It is said that Elder Tinniswood's spirit has not found peace, and a malevolent force seeks to claim his ancient knowledge for itself.

The party is approached by a distraught villager, a young woman named Elara, who reveals that strange occurrences have plagued the village since the elder's passing. Livestock have gone missing, shadows flicker in the corners of homes, and a chilling wind carries the sound of mournful wails at night. Elara believes that a dark entity, drawn to the elder's powerful spirit, is attempting to breach the veil between worlds.

The adventurers must investigate the source of this disturbance. They can explore the elder's humble abode, filled with dusty tomes and relics of a bygone era, where they may find clues about his past and the magic he wielded. As they delve deeper, they discover a hidden chamber beneath the house, where a powerful artifact known as the Soulstone lies dormant. This stone is said to contain the essence of the elder, and it is here that the party must confront the dark force that seeks to corrupt it.
