Tier 2 – The Spire of Echoes

**Tier 2 play**

In the vibrant realm of Eldoria, where magic flows like rivers and the skies shimmer with the hues of enchantment, a peculiar phenomenon has begun to unfold. Whispers of a forgotten tower, known as the Spire of Echoes, have reached the ears of adventurers far and wide. This ancient structure, said to be a remnant of a long-lost civilization, has recently re-emerged from the mists of time, drawing the attention of both curious explorers and sinister forces.

Your party finds themselves in the bustling town of Larkhaven, where the air is thick with the scent of blooming nightshade and the distant sound of a lute strumming a melancholic tune. The townsfolk speak in hushed tones of the tower, claiming it holds the memories of those who once walked the earth, now trapped within its walls. Some say it is a treasure trove of knowledge, while others warn of the dark spirits that guard its secrets.

As you gather in the town square, a mysterious figure approaches—a hooded sage with eyes that glimmer like stars. "Adventurers," they say, their voice a soft whisper, "the Spire of Echoes awaits. But beware, for a malevolent force has taken residence within. The Wraith of Remembrance, a being that feeds on the memories of the living, seeks to reclaim what was lost. You must confront it before it consumes the essence of Larkhaven."

With a sense of purpose, your party sets off toward the tower, navigating through dense thickets and overgrown paths. The air grows colder as you approach, and a thick fog envelops the landscape, obscuring your vision. The tower looms ahead, its stone walls entwined with creeping vines and glowing runes that pulse with an otherworldly light.

Upon entering the tower, you are greeted by a grand hall filled with echoes of laughter and sorrow, memories trapped in shimmering orbs floating in the air. As you explore, you encounter spectral figures—lost souls who plead for release. The atmosphere is heavy with emotion, and the air crackles with magic as you delve deeper into the tower's mysteries.

Suddenly, the Wraith of Remembrance materializes before you, a swirling mass of shadow and sorrow, with hollow eyes that seem to pierce through your very being. It speaks in a voice that echoes like a distant memory, "You dare intrude upon my domain? Your memories shall be mine!"

**Boss Enemy: Wraith of Remembrance**

– **HP:** 80

– **AC:** 15

– **Attack:** Shadow Grasp (Melee Attack, +6 to hit, 2d8 necrotic damage)

– **Special Ability:** Memory Drain (Recharge 5-6, target must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or lose one memory, taking 3d6 psychic damage)

– **Legendary Action:** Ethereal Shift (The Wraith can move through walls and obstacles, reappearing within 30 feet.)
